Day01. Sunday. Arrival in Addis Ababa. Transfer to the chosen hotel. Have a free morning.
Afternoon (1400 hrs from the hotel) tour of the capital: visit the National museum, St George
church and the Mercato, biggest open air market in Africa. ON (overnight) hotel.
Day02. Drive Bahirdar.
On the way make a stop around Jemma river, with the chance to spot endemic Gelada baboons.
Cross the Blue Nile river gorge and proceed to Bahirdar. Dinner & ON hotel in Bahirdar
Day03. Bahirdar
Morning drive to visit the Blue Nile falls (it takes about 1 hour drive and then 20 minute walk,
each way). Admire these spectacular falls and amazing views.
Afternoon make a boat excursion on lake Tana to visit the monasteries over its islands, as Ura
Kidane Mehret and Asua Mariam. Dinner & ON hotel in Bahirdar.
Day04. Morning drive to Gondar.
It takes about 2 hrs driving, visit on the way very nice landscapes.
Afternoon visit the castles compound including king Fasiladas and other castles, King Fasiladas
bath and the Debre Birhan Sellasie church (light of Trinity) with wonderful murals.
Day05. Semien mountains
Excursion to the spectacular Semien mountains, with breathtaking views.
Views of amazing flora and fauna, with the chance to admire the endemic Gelada baboons,
Mountain Nyala, Lammergeyer, and more.

Day06. Drive to Lalibela, admiring very nice views.
Before reaching Lalibela have a stop to visit the Yemereha or Naktuleab church.

Day07. Full day to visit the rock-hewn churches in Lalibela, UNESCO heritage.
Late afternoon have a coffee ceremony in a traditional house.

Day08. Drive to Asheten Mariam church and visit the church and amazing views.
Then proceed to Kombolcha & Dessie.

Day09. MON. Drive to visit the colorful Afar and Oromo people market at Bati village.
You will admire the Afar people coming from the Danakil depression with their camel caravans
for selling salt and other merchandise; while local people selling other products.
Is a very colorful and active market; the biggest in the northern part of Ethiopia.

Day10. Awash park
Drive to the Awash National park. Visiting on the way Afar and Kereyou people and village.
Afternoon have your game drive. You will visit the Awash falls, lot of birds, mammals as the
Oryx, lesser Kudu and more,

Day11. Harar
Proceed to Harar, the walled city.
Visit mosques and churches, the Adere local people houses, the markets and more.
Evening visit the hyena man, a man feeding wild hyenas.

Day12. THU. DireDawa- Addis Ababa
Drive to DireDawa and visit the famous train station DireDawa-Addis and the market.
Drive back to Addis Ababa.
Folklore dinner with traditional dances and then transfer to airport for departure
